The Vision committee met a while back and came up with the "mission statement" you see on the home page.
We need your input, please email me and let me know your thoughts.
We have only gotten feedback from one member of Montpelier with some input, more is needed.

Amy and I discussed the next element of our Vision , "EMS Field and ER relations"

The Vision Committee is meeting the last week of October 07, and will have feedback for the December District Board meeting.

These are the draft policy proposals to the District from Dave Jennings, he has put in countless hours
on this project, it is looking great.

Please take the time to read them and let him know of any thoughts or suggestions you may have.

UPDATE Sept 2008, Dave is in final phase, and a final draft will be forth coming at the October 2008 meeting.

I have talked with Mike re QA/QI and his thoughts, we have chosen to use run sheets as 
the improvement tool, Mike will review these, we will explain further at the next board meeting.

Re the 45 second patch, I have rewritten the example Phil put out, which  
was not originally written for EMS and will review that at the next meeting. 
Driver training is in Marks corner and he will speak to our thoughts on that.

2007-08 EMT-B course is completed with testing to take place on 24 February 2008. The Information for the 2008 EMT-I course is
posted on the education page, starts in April. We are looking at a 24 hr refresher class in April as well.

UPDATE Sept 2008, Mark is hard at work with the committee, A new training budget is under way for needed equipment.
The 2009 EMT - B class has started with 36 students.

The Budget Committee held a meeting the first week of October, A freeze was placed
on all purchases pending a meeting with the board to discuss financial need,
the 501-C3 status, and yearly dues from all departments starting in 2008.
Will meet again in March 03 20 08

UPDATE Sept 2008, the budget committee met in September prior to the board meeting. We are set to have a final draft for the board in October.
